Jamaica — Two men who allegedly posed as customers while robbing a business establishment, during which they shot and killed a businesswoman, have been indicted on numerous charges.
The defendants are Chevaughn O’Meally, 18, a store clerk from New Haven, Kingston, 20, also from the same parish, and Kimarie Ralston, 21, a porter from River Drive.
O’Meally and Ralston are charged with murder, aggravated robbery, possession of a prohibited weapon, unauthorized possession of ammunition and using a prohibited weapon to commit a felony.
According to police, on Tuesday, April 10, at approximately 1.40pm, two men are suspected of entering a commercial premises in Pembroke Hall, Kingston, and posing as customers when they robbed and shot a 45-year-old businesswoman, Julianne Brown, of Spanish Town, St. Catherine.
Police said the pair fled the area, but they were seen on security camera footage.
They were subsequently charged after a warning was recorded and a court date is currently being arranged.
