The Manchester United left-back has only recently returned to fitness after a lengthy spell out with a hamstring injury, but featured as a substitute in both the quarter-final and semi-final.
Shaw replaces Kieran Tripper and will have the unenviable task of stopping Spain’s teenage sensation Lamine Yamal.
The Barcelona winger, who turned 17 yesterday, became the youngest player in Euros history to score a goal in Spain’s 2-1 semi-final win over France.
Spain coach Luis de la Fuente made two changes, bringing on Robin Le Normand and Dani Carvajal from suspension in place of Nacho and Jesus Navas.
