Caribbean Olympic medallists are in for a treat as Sandals Resorts International has offered them complimentary vacations at any Sandals or Beaches resort across the region. The offer extends to athletes who won medals at the Paris Olympic Games and hail from islands where Sandals operates.
Among the athletes who will be enjoying this special reward are Jamaicans Rojé Stona, Kishane Thompson, Shanieka Ricketts, Rajindra Campbell, Wayne Pinnock, and Rasheed Broadbell, as well as St Lucia’s Julien Alfred, Grenada’s Lindon Victor, and Anderson Peters. The athletes will each receive a one-week vacation to relax and unwind at a luxurious Sandals resort.
Sandals Executive Chairman Adam Stewart expressed his excitement and pride in the Caribbean athletes’ achievements, stating, “The Olympic Games are always a special time for us here in the Caribbean. Our athletes are incredibly talented and we are thrilled to witness their wins and record-making performances.”
This generous gesture is not new for Sandals Resorts, as the resort chain previously offered complimentary vacations to athletes at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Sandals has a history of supporting Caribbean athletes and has been a major sponsor of regional sports, including the West Indies Cricket team and various motorsport athletes.
The offer of complimentary vacations to Olympic medallists is just another way Sandals Resorts International shows its appreciation and support for the talented athletes from the Caribbean region.
