Company History
The Sally’s Gourmet Kitchen brand is part of Le Macaron Pastry and Dessert Company, which was founded in May 2016 with the aim to reinvent how love, passion, dedication, tradition and values can be reflected in the quality of naturally produced coconut oil, seasonings, herb blends etc. The Sally’s Gourmet Kitchen brand is dedicated to providing products that are free of chemicals and naturally grown in Jamaica.

Our ingredients are sourced from the Blue Mountains and St Thomas Parish.
Where the product is currently sold
Our Coconut Oil and Roasted Garlic Blend is currently sold by the Jamaica Food & Drink Kitchen and we have also recently received approval to sell our products in Hi-Lo supermarkets across Jamaica.
The story behind the product packaging
For a speciality product like our coconut oil, it’s important that we take the time and effort to source high-quality coconut oil. But it’s difficult for consumers to know if they’ll like our product unless they actually try it. Packaging is a key part of our marketing strategy, not only reflecting the quality of our product, but also communicating our brand identity and helping us stand out on the shelf. By working with local Jamaican artists to design our packaging, we create a cycle of employment and sustainability.

We have received a request from Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen to sell our products.

What is the reaction to the product?
That’s great. I’m excited! We have repeat customers who order twice a month. I think the orders will increase once we are able to reach a bigger market. We only use seasonal ingredients in our products, so our coconut oil and some of our seasonings will only be available seasonally.
What makes our products successful?
We use locally sourced ingredients that will appeal to those interested in health and wellness, as well as organically grown herbs and spices.
We grow our business
The brand is known for using all-natural ingredients, which will resonate with chefs and cooking enthusiasts, and they hope to eventually achieve organic certification so they can export their products to markets where consumers are interested in purchasing natural organic products, supporting the Sally’s Gourmet Kitchen brand.
Our biggest challenge is
We exercise quality control over the products we source from our farmers/suppliers as local weather conditions affect the growing cycle and therefore the quality of the raw materials used.
