KINGSTON, Jamaica — Businessman Romeich Major and his Romeich Entertainment team will be distributing relief supplies to residents of St. Elizabeth affected by Hurricane Beryl.
A post currently circulating on social media shows Major stuffing food into bags with members of his team, including dancehall sensation Shenseea.
In addition to the bags of food, the team were also seen loading plywood and taupolyne onto lorries, and Rev Major said they would also distribute these items during their visit to parishes on Friday.
“The team is packing up to head to St. Elizabeth tomorrow to help out however we can. Instead of waiting for someone to help, we want to help no matter how small it may be,” he captioned the video. “@shenseea is leading the challenge, @romeichentertainment and @majormarketingja are running it, and the rest of the team will deploy and help in any way they can.”
Major also thanked companies such as Honey Bun, Grace Foods, ICool, LP Azar, MMS Hardware and Stoplight Wholesale for donating funds to support the relief efforts.
