Raddesh Roman closes gap in jockeys’ championship race with four-win haul

Trained by Ian Roberts, Press Conference surged from behind to beat Joy Is Golden by a neck in the Overnight Allowance contest for three-year-olds and upward over the straight course at five furlongs (1,000m). Taurus Boy finished in third place, with a final time of 59.0.
In addition to his feature race win, Roman also triumphed aboard Noble Impulse, Tiffany Blu, and Bad Investment in other races throughout the day. With these victories, Roman brought his total win count to 109, just one win behind Foster’s tally of 110.
