The latest installment in the ROK Supper Club series, Pink Supper, was a luxurious summer soirée filled with delicious food and delightful ambiance. Held on Thursday, August 15 at the ROK Hotel’s rooftop bar and pool area, the event was a feast for the senses.
Guests were greeted with glasses of rosé and pink cocktails as they arrived, setting the tone for the evening. The space was elegantly decorated with a vibrant tablescape featuring roses, hydrangeas, cherry blossoms, and bougainvilleas in shades of pink, creating a magical atmosphere for the feast to come.
Executive Chef Volaé Williams curated a nine-course menu, each dish infused with bold, subtle, and explosive flavors. From Scotch Bonnet Beetroot Rice Krispies to Jerk Octopus and Spiced Duck Confit, guests were treated to a culinary journey like no other. The dishes were expertly paired with a selection of red, white, and rosé wines from Caribbean Producers Jamaica Ltd (CPJ), adding an extra layer of indulgence to the evening.
After a palate-cleansing bubbly dessert, guests were treated to a flight of desserts inspired by the garden and pink nostalgia. The Yogurt Panna Cotta, Raspberry Mousse Tartlet, Chocolate Sorrel Bon Bon, and other sweet treats provided a fitting end to the gastronomic experience.
The Pink Supper event at ROK Hotel showcased the best of what a supper club can offer – a unique and intimate dining experience that brings together chef, guests, and the culinary arts in a special way. For those looking for a new way to enjoy fine dining, the ROK Supper Club is definitely worth exploring.
Overall, the Pink Supper at ROK Hotel was a night to remember, filled with delicious food, great company, and a celebration of all things pink and fabulous. Cheers to the next installment of the ROK Supper Club series!
