Dancehall artiste Mr Lexx Drops New Track “One Life” on the Airwaves
Veteran dancehall artiste Mr Lexx has released a new track titled “One Life” that is currently making waves on the airwaves. Produced by DJ Blast from Martinique, the track is featured on the Disinterest rhythm.
In a recent interview with the Jamaica Observer, Mr Lexx shared that the song is all about having a good time. Known for hits such as Cook, Full Hundred, Halla Halla, and Ring Mi Cellie, the artiste expressed his hope for “One Life” to become a hit.
The Disinterest rhythm, which contains four tracks in total, also features artists G Whizz, Natwali, and Era Don. DJ Blast, the producer behind the project, mentioned that the collaboration was a collective effort involving musicians from all over the Caribbean.
While this is the first time Mr Lexx has collaborated with DJ Blast as an artiste and producer, they have previously worked together in production capacities and plan to collaborate again in the future. The other artists on the rhythm came together through various connections and friendships.
Under NTDHR Music, DJ Blast’s first project was released two years ago, and there are plans for more projects and growth in the coming months. Fans can also expect more collaborations with Mr Lexx, who is currently focused on promoting his Diggy Nation clothing line and touring the US.
DJ Blast emphasized the importance of spreading positivity through their music, stating, “We want to make the songs and the messages they convey as popular as possible. I personally think people need to hear more positivity.”
