Company History
Lincoln Gordon & Sons is a family-owned food processing company located in Summerfield, Clarendon, Jamaica, operating under the brand name Lincoln since 2011. The business was born out of a need for sauces to complement the food served at the Jerk Pit. Buoyed by the success of their sauces at the Denbigh Agricultural Show, the company now offers over 30 unique products, including sauces, condiments, porridges, oils, flours and herbal teas such as Soursop Tea and Green Plantain Porridge Powder. Signature products include Turmeric Ketchup and Ginger Beet Ketchup, all made from locally grown produce by Jamaican farmers. Lincoln Gordon & Sons is committed to providing natural, delicious products that reflect the culture and authentic flavors of Jamaica.
All equipment and machinery used in production is designed and manufactured by mechanical engineer and company founder Lincoln Gordon. The company’s products are sold in health food stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and wholesale outlets.

The story behind the product packaging
The inspiration for Lincoln Gordon & Sons’ packaging came from the need to present its award-winning, multi-purpose sauces, originally created to complement Jerk Pit dishes, in a way that reflected the authentic flavours and culture of Jamaica and was also practical for distribution to health food stores, pharmacies, supermarkets and wholesale outlets.
We created these products to offer natural, delicious options that complement Jamaican cuisine, celebrate the authentic flavors and culture of Jamaica, and support local agriculture by using locally grown produce.
The first breakthrough
Their participation in the Denbigh Agricultural Show was the catalyst for their recognition and success, leading to them receiving the first of many accolades, including the “National Bakery Bold Ones Champion of Manufacturing” and the “National Commercial Bank Nation Builder Innovation Award.”

Commercial transportation challenges in efficiently distributing products from factories to various distribution points, which can lead to delays, increased costs and impact customer satisfaction.

Transportation issues can delay the arrival of supplies from local farmers and other suppliers, directly impacting raw material inventories and causing disruptions to production schedules and shortages.
