Jamaican recording artist Kisko Amar-I has made a comeback to the music scene after a brief hiatus. The St. Ann-born singjay took a break in 2021 to reflect on his musical purpose and is now back with a renewed focus on his career.
In a recent statement, Kisko Amar-I shared, “In 2021 I decided to take a break to do some deep soul-searching and reconnect with my true musical purpose. Having done that I’m much more focused and ready to take my career to the next level now.”
The artist is currently promoting a new single titled “Darkest Cloud,” which conveys a message of hope and faith in challenging times. The song, which was self-produced, was released on Kisko Amar-I Music in July and is available on various digital platforms such as iTunes, Amazon Music, and Spotify.
Kisko Amar-I expressed his gratitude for the positive reception the single has received, particularly from DJs around the world. He credited the success of the song to the collaborative effort of everyone involved in the project, including musician Izzy who created the rhythm.
Looking ahead, Kisko Amar-I is busy in the studio working on an EP and additional singles that are scheduled for release later this year. The artist also has live performances lined up at several events in Florida, including Reggae Food and Music Festival and Island Fest in the coming months.
Fans of Kisko Amar-I can expect more uplifting and inspiring music from the talented artist as he continues to make his mark in the reggae music industry. Stay tuned for more updates on his upcoming releases and performances.
