Kingston, Jamaica— Warren Escoffery, a 31-year-old welder from Olympic Way in Kingston, has been charged with wounding with intent following a stabbing incident that occurred on Saturday, July 20, on Studio One Boulevard, Kingston 5.
According to reports from the Cross Roads police, the altercation began around 3:00 pm between Escoffery and another man. The situation quickly escalated into a physical confrontation, during which Escoffery allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the complainant multiple times. Fortunately, the injured man received timely medical assistance and was treated and released from the hospital.
Following the incident, Escoffery voluntarily surrendered to the police. He was subsequently interviewed in the presence of his attorney and charged with wounding with intent.
Escoffery is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday, August 8, to face the charges.
