This all-ages event, which is a popular destination for families during the Heroes’ Weekend, had temporarily moved to Hope Gardens for last year’s staging but has now returned to its original location at the Kingston Waterfront for its 10th edition.
Andrew McKenley, the director of Gospel LinkUp Foundation and promoter of the event, expressed his excitement about bringing the event back to its roots. He emphasized that the Kingston Waterfront is the true home of Jamaica Family Fest and that they are going all out to celebrate the milestone achievement of the event’s 10th staging. In addition to the Heroes’ Day event in Kingston, Jamaica Family Fest will also be staged in Montego Bay in December as a pre-Christmas Shopping Expo and Fun Day. This extension to the second city will provide residents of Montego Bay with the same enjoyable experience and opportunities as the Kingston event.
