Alric Moncrieff, aka “Corangi” or “Lara”.
Police have confirmed that the body of 20-year-old Alric Moncrieff has been found after being swept away by floodwaters in Annett Gardens, St Andrew, Havana, during the passage of Hurricane Beryl last week.
According to information received from the Jamaica Police Service network, the body was recovered on Thursday morning from Shoemaker Gully, Half Way Tree Road, St. Andrew.
Moncrieff, also known as “Kalonji” or “Lala,” was reportedly playing football with friends last Wednesday as the Category 4 hurricane passed through, when he tried to retrieve a ball that had fallen into a ditch. He was swept away by raging floodwaters and search parties were dispatched.
