MANCHESTER, Jamaica – In a tragic turn of events, an 18-year-old bartender from Top Coffee Grove near Porus, Manchester, has been arrested and charged with the murder of a 50-year-old local farmer. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, August 31, 2024.
The accused teenager, Sherone Rowe, reportedly fatally stabbed Fitzroy Wilson during an altercation. The argument escalated, leading Rowe to use a knife against Wilson. Following the attack, Wilson collapsed and Rowe fled the scene.
Sources indicate that Rowe’s family also vacated their home shortly after the incident, citing threats from the community as the reason for their abrupt departure.
